Foreclosure Defense Litigation

It has been estimated that the majority of home loans contain one or more violations of the Truth In Lending Act, Regulation Z, The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Home Owners Equity Protection Act and other state and federal statutes. Many of these violations will entitle you to recover damages from the lender and also provide legal defenses to enjoin or defeat a foreclosure action.

Alternatively, providing the lender or servicer with persuasive evidence of statutory violations is an effective strategy for convincing the lender or servicer to modify rather than foreclose on your loan.
